Help The Ankeny Fire Department Fill The Fire Truck With Toys For Tots
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off Monday through Friday, now – Dec. 4, 2020, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Ankeny Fire Department is asking for the community’s help to ensure that children in need can experience the excitement and joy of Christmas through the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign.

Due to COVID-19, the Fire Department will hold a special drive-thru Fill the Fire Truck with Toys for Tots event Sunday, Dec. 6, 3 – 6 p.m. at the Fire Station Headquarters. Participants will enter the fire truck bay from the north side of Ash Drive and hand the toy to the firefighters; they should wear a mask and stay in their vehicle.
All Ankeny Fire Stations are also official drop locations for the Toys for Tots campaign. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off Monday through Friday, now – Dec. 4, 2020, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. A drop box will be available in the vestibules of the stations. Those wishing to participate are asked to donate only unwrapped new toys at the following locations:

Due to the overwhelming support of our community, last year’s toy drive resulted in more than 1,000 toys being collected for children in Central Iowa. For more information, please contact the Ankeny Fire Department at 515-965-6469.
