Ankeny Kirkendall Public Library Board of Trustees is developing a strategic plan for the future of our library. A strategic plan sets long-range agency goals and identifies specific objectives and strategies to accomplish those goals. It is the decision-making process for what will be happening at the Ankeny Kirkendall Public Library over the next five years.

The strategic plan, therefore, must be created to be responsive to its community’s needs. Excellence must be defined locally—it results when library services match community needs, interests, and priorities. This is where you can assist by providing your feedback and suggestions. Please participate in our community survey before Nov. 1, 2020.
