Jaguars Win First Golf Meet Against Hawks

The boys' golf teams in Ankeny competed against one another for the first time Monday.

Ankeny Centennial High School Jaguars were again victorious in a match up against the established Ankeny High School Hawks.

The Hawk and Jaguar boys' golf teams met Monday for the first time on Briarwood Golf Course. Jaguars won the first-ever dual meet, 151-176, according to a report in the Des Moines Register.

The loss was likely no surprise.

The Hawks will have a second shot when they play again Wednesday in the Ankeny Invitational at Otter Creek.
