Musical Chairs Auditions Set

Ankeny Community Theatre will be holding auditions for ‘Musical Chairs’, written by Barry Berg, Ken Donnelly and Tom Savage, on Saturday, January 9 at 3:00 PM and Sunday, January 10 at 7:00 PM. Possible callbacks will be held Wednesday, January 13 at 7:00 PM. The theater is located at 1932 SW 3rd Street in Ankeny.

There are parts for eight men (ages 20 - 50+) and eight women (ages 20 - 50+). Information about the characters may be found at http://www.ankenycommunitytheatre.com. Bring a prepared song. An accompanist will be provided. Dress for some minor dance movement. Please fill out the online audition form found at http://www.ankenycommunitytheatre.com/auditioning.html before auditions. Poor Joe Preston hasn’t had a Broadway hit in years. The audience has come to see the opening night of his newest play which he hopes will be a huge success and will revive his career. That could be quite difficult considering the audience members have some problems of their own. ‘Musical Chairs’ is a surefire winner with its bit of drama, abundance of comedy, and marvelous music.
