PHOTO - Wild Owl Perches on it's Saviors Shoulder to get to PD

David Holtman accidentally hit.. ahem.. an owl accidentally hit David Holtman’s vehicle in Connecticut recently.

According to Eyewitness News in Connecticut, Holtman got out of his vehicle and found the bird sprawled out on the ground. He could tell it was still breathing but it was unresponsive.

Holtman put the injured owl in his car and was on his way to meet an animal control officer when the owl hopped up onto his shoulder, where it would sit for the entire ride. It seemed that the owl would be okay.
