Summer is the Season for Emerging Art!
Celebrate summer in Ankeny with brand new works by local emerging artists.
In the main gallery, Jessica Quinn is presenting her fine art oil painting exhibition "Her eye: an exploration of movement and color” in the main gallery. In this colorful series, Jessica will present many recent paintings focusing on compositions of floral images.
Laura Comito, Cecelia Comito, Jacqueline Comito and Kelsey Hall will display their "We Are Family" exhibition in the side gallery. This exhibition will be composed of various fine art mediums.

The exhibitions open on June 6 and run through July 26, 2017 at the Ankeny Art Center. The opening reception for the artists is Thursday, June 8, 5-7pm. Both the exhibitions and artist reception are free and open to the public. Complimentary wine and appetizers will be available during the reception.
