JEFFERSON, LA - Starting Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., one left lane on Veterans Blvd. in both directions and one left lane on Bonnabel Blvd. in both directions will be closed on a continuous basis. Motorists will use the available lanes for travel.

The closure is necessary to construct new U-turns and turn lanes through the intersection at a cost of $1.3 million dollars. Work is scheduled to be completed by Monday, August 30, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
