BCNS gets festive for Thanksgiving

The children of Belair Cooperative Nursery School celebrate Thanksgiving with song and dance.

Gobble, gobble. The children of the Belair Cooperative Nursery School celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday this week and the festivities were in full swing. The children performed Thanksgiving inspired songs lead by the school’s music teacher of 25 years, Karen Seppi. The children danced and sang tunes about the delicious foods they would eat on Thanksgiving Day as they shook the instruments made in class earlier that day. For the grand finale the children marched around the room, doing their own turkey trot as parents and staff cheered them on. Earlier in the week children from all classes were given a turkey feather and told to decorate it with items that they were thankful for. The feathers were put on the main bulletin board to create the most beautiful Thanksgiving turkey. It made a perfect backdrop for all the festivities!
