BCNS Spreads the LOVE

The students of Belair Cooperative Nursery School kicked off their Valentine's Day festivities with a grand gesture. The classes took a short walk over to Golden Age Adult Daycare, with whom the school has a close relationship. The children were excited to serenade the residents with their favorite songs, led by their beloved music teacher, Mrs. Seppi. After the songs were sung the children continued to spread the love by handing out "pieces of love" cards they had made with puzzle pieces. They were a huge hit for both young and old alike. Following their visit to Golden Age the children returned to their classrooms to exchange Valentine's Day cards with their classmates and make strawberry shortcakes, because what's Valentine's day at without a sweet treat?
