Beyonce, Jay-Z Concert Means Crowded Roads: What To Know

The Beyonce and Jay-Z concert will draw major crowds and may cause delays in Prince George's County this weekend.

LANDOVER, MD — With Beyonce and Jay-Z coming to town this weekend, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is warning drivers of potential delays caused by the major crowd.

The couple will be performing at 7:30 p.m. at FedEx Field in Landover on Friday and Saturday.

Heavier traffic than usual is expected on the Capital Beltway, MD 214 and MD 202.

MDOT SHA will deploy additional patrols in the area to assist local police with traffic operations and be able to deploy a rapid response to help clear any disabled vehicles or crashes.

Major nighttime roadwork will be suspended each night in these areas.
