Bowie Baysox Present 21st Annual Free Family FunFest

For the 21st year in a row, the Bowie Baysox will be hosting the Free Family FunFest at Prince George's Stadium.

BOWIE, MD — The Bowie Baysox, the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, is gearing up for the 2020 baseball season with an annual event that should please baseball fans and families alike. The ball club is hosting its 21st Free Family FunFest On Saturday, March 28, according to a release.

The Fun Fest is a free event that takes place from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at Prince George’s Stadium (4101 Crain Highway, Bowie, Maryland 20716). The family-friendly event will offer free rides and games in Louie's Kids Park, face paining and fan raffles. In addition, 1430AM WNAV will be broadcasting live from the park.

Fans can hangout with Baysox mascots Louie and Rocko — the Oriole Bird will also be in attendance — and tour the field and stadium.

The Baysox will be kicking off the 2020 season with a home opener on Thursday, April 9, against the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Game time is 6:35 p.m. Single tickets for all 70 home games will be on sale at the FunFest, and the box office will remain open all day. Fans can purchase tickets online or by phone for all home games.
