Bowie Farmers Market Reopens; Vendors Sell Craft Products
The Bowie Farmers Market reopened Sunday. The outdoor sale will continue all summer with some safety rules. Here are this year's vendors.

BOWIE, MD — The Bowie Farmers Market reopened last week. The sale takes place every Sunday through Oct. 31.
Customers can head to Bowie High School between 8 a.m. and noon. Vendors will set up in the parking lot and sell food and gifts.

Sellers will:
- Take preorders during the week (see each vendor’s website or menu for preorder cut off times) and take payments in advance if possible
- Wear a mask and gloves at all times and adhere to the 6-foot social distancing rule
- Use hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol if soap and water are not available between each order
- Use prebagged or prepackaged items in single-use containers to minimize hand contact with produce
The City of Bowie asked shoppers to:
- Wear a mask
- Maintain 6 feet of social distancing at all times
- Use hand sanitizer as necessary
- Minimize touching of products prior to purchasing
- Follow directional arrows to allow one-way foot traffic
