Bowie High Teacher Named One Of Best New Educators In Maryland
A Bowie High School teacher was named one of the best new educators in his field. Three other PGCPS employees also won awards.

BOWIE, MD — Ronald Smith, a teacher at Bowie High School, was named one of the best new technology education instructors in the state. Prince George's County Public Schools announced the honor on Feb. 3.
The New Teacher Award of Excellence comes from the Technology and Engineering Educators Association of Maryland. TEEAM gives this recognition to educators who have less than three years of experience and demonstrate a well-rounded teaching style.
Three other PGCPS employees also won awards.
