Bowie Restaurant Celebrates 15 Years Of Memories, Music
"The best little honky tonk" celebrated its 15th birthday on Tuesday. Customers cheered the eatery's upbeat atmosphere and rocking music.

BOWIE, MD — The Old Bowie Town Grille celebrated its 15th birthday on Tuesday. The eatery is known for its social environment and lively music.
"Lots of blood, sweat, and tears went into creating this family restaurant," the bar and grille said on Facebook. "We are grateful to still be here today."
Customer Liz Lescault called eatery "the coolest, rocking, bluesy place in the county." Another patron, Christine Frechette, described the spot as "the best little honky tonk in Maryland!"

Some regulars cheered the food, and others lauded the drinks. Many commenters reflected on their memories at the local joint, nestled near the train tracks of Old Town Bowie.
"I couldn't think of a better place to have my 50th birthday celebration as well as my wedding reception," diner Rachel Birckhead Kontgias reflected. "I miss you and my home away from home."
