This kitty was born with one eye. She is completely healthy thanks to the local vets. Now, she's looking for a loving home with her sister.

Jax and Tatertot

Jax's Personality: I’m a sweetie pie, although you may not know if at first, as I like to take my time to warm up to new people. I was born with only one eye and needed surgery to prevent future problems—but now that recovery is over I am LOVING life! I get to explore all day, I’m fascinated by the washing machine, I love playing with my sister Tatertot, and getting chin rubs from my humans. I don’t love being picked up and I am still learning how to ask for cuddles and affection from my human friends. Overall I want to be loved and give love—are Tatertot and I a good fit for you?

Tatertot's Personality: I am a fluff ball! I’m a silly cat who enjoys lying around allllll day and gets super excited for meal times. (I’ll be your best friend then!) I love playing with my sister, lazing around, watching the birds outside the window, and getting scratches from my humans. I love affection, but I am shy and may take a while to warm up to new people so please be patient with me! Jax and I would love a quiet home with lots of love!

How We Came To The SPCA: We were living outdoors and not doing very well on our own. A local family started feeding us and then trapped us for spay/neuter. That was the day everything started looking up. Foster care is so much better than life outside!

Dream Family: Our dream family would consist of at least two adults who could play with us and continue socializing us. They would give us lots of time to get acclimated to a new home, with toys and space to play and explore.

The local SPCA is a volunteer-run organization that does not operate a physical shelter. Volunteers house the animals in their own homes until they are adopted. Every pet up for adoption is listed here. To start the adoption process, fill out this form. Anyone with questions can call (301) 262-5625 or email pgspcavol@gmail.com.
