Cat Siblings Rescued From Overcrowded House, Need New Home: SPCA
These kittens were rescued from a house with too many cats. The SPCA hopes to find them a loving home in Prince George's County.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Patch recently partnered with the SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County. Each week, we will bring you the cutest pets looking for homes. Here are this week's adorable adoptables. Click on their names for more information.
Personality: At first glance, I look black but in the sun you can see I am really dark brown. I have a “fur necklace” and lighter fur on my eyebrows as well. I am small and look dainty but I have very quick reflexes and love to chase balls and mice. I especially like to play with toys on strings! When I capture a toy, I will often hide it in one of my special places – sometimes even under my pillow, then I know where they are so I can play with them again. I don’t like to be petted yet, but I do climb on my foster mom and will make biscuits or settle down for a short nap. I love to look out of the window from the top of the cat tree.

How I Came To The SPCA: I was in a very crowded house with my sister Fluffy. There were way too many cats. A nice lady rescued us and took us to the SPCA. I was extremely scared at first, but over time I realized that my foster mom would feed me and play with me, and I have become much more social. I am now ready to find my forever home!
Dream Family: I would love to find a home for me and one of my step brothers, where we can run and play. I haven’t spent time with kids or dogs and would need time to adjust if they’ll be a part of my new family. We love playing with string and balls and mice, and we would love to be part of a family who will take care of us — we will love you forever!
Personality: I am very handsome with long black fur and tufts of white fur in my ears. I am small and think I will always be a small cat. I am shy around people and may give a verbal warning when I’m uncomfortable. I enjoy treats, though I once mistook a finger for a treat. I will need a special forever home with companions who will be very patient and calm.
Hobbies: Watching from a safe distance.
Favorite Toys: String toys.
Favorite Napping Spot: In a closed dark place.
How I Came To The SPCA: I was in a very crowded house with my sister Joyce. There were way too many cats. A nice lady rescued us and took us to the SPCA. I was extremely scared at first and still am not sure I like people. I can be a bit cranky and scared, but I’m called Fluffy because of my beautiful long coat. I’m hoping the perfect home is out there!
Dream Family: I would love to find a special home that will be calm and peaceful. I am still very scared and startle easily. I do not think I would like dogs or very small children. It will take time for me to trust people, but I may turn out to be a very loving cat once I feel safe and secure. I will need you to be very patient with me.
