Cops Seek 'Coat Bandits' In PG County: Police
Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down two people who they say stole coats from a store in Prince George's County.
DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD — Police say if you've seen these two, contact them.
These "coat bandits" hit a store in the 5000 block of Silver Hill Road in District Heights on Oct. 15 at around 10:30 a.m., according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
"We know the weather is getting colder but that doesn’t excuse the suspects in this next case," the report states. "The preliminary investigation reveals they walked into the business, walked to the coat racks, grabbed full racks of coats and fled the store."
