Now that the children are back in school, the leaves are changing, and the weather is cooler, it's time to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. There are free and inexpensive events for children and adults. Some include arts and crafts festivals at churches, parks, and golf clubs in Bowie, Crofton, Davidsonville, Millersville, and Odenton. Festival on the Green is at the Crofton Country Club on Saturday, September 29. There is the American Indian Festival at Patuxent River Park in Upper Marlboro on October 20. Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville has a fall event coming up soon. Baldwin Hall in Millersville has their craft show from November 1-11.
