'Family By Choice,' 2 Prince George's Kittens Need A Home: SPCA
These two kittens aren't actually siblings, but don't tell them that! They are looking for a home together. Will you help them out?
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Patch recently partnered with the SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County. Each week, we will bring you the cutest pets looking for homes. Here are this week's adorable adoptables.
Rockie and Bobby
Personality: Bobby and Rockie are not actual siblings, but are family by choice! They love to run and play together and they are a bonded pair, so we need to adopt them out together. Bobby (a boy) is short-haired and a little shy at first. Rockie (a girl) is so soft and fluffy, and she purrs almost instantly when she’s getting scratches. They are both sweet and affectionate kittens, and Rockie especially loves to cuddle!
Hobbies: They both love to attack each other’s tails and follow the big cats around.

Favorite Toy: Bobby loves to carry around his stuffed multi-colored octopus. Rockie loves the scratching post and chasing balls.
Favorite Napping Spot: For Bobby, in his cat tree cave. for Rockie, the sunniest spot on the window sill (especially with one of the other cats)

How They Came To The SPCA: These sweet kittens were each found separately as tiny babies, wandering alone without siblings or mom. Rockie came to us from a feral trapper, but she was friendly as can be so it was easy to take her into our foster program. Bobby was found by a colony feeder. They are LOVING indoor life and took quickly to their foster people.
Dream Family: Rockie and Bobby need a home together, with lots of space to run and play. They get along with dogs and other cats, especially friendly adults. But they especially love their humans and want a home with lots of love and snuggles.
The local SPCA is a volunteer-run organization that does not operate a physical shelter. Volunteers house the animals in their own homes until they are adopted. Every pet up for adoption is listed here. To start the adoption process, fill out this form. Anyone with questions can call (301) 262-5625 or email pgspcavol@gmail.com.
