OXON HILL, MD — Marylanders who get the coronavirus vaccine are eligible for a free Ledo Pizza. Residents will get one complimentary 8-inch cheese pizza after they have gotten at least one dose.

The offer lasts until June 30 or until Ledo Pizza distributes 10,000 pies, whichever comes first. Every Maryland location is participating. Customers can sign up for the offer and learn more at Ledo4Vaccines.com.

"Maryland businesses have risen to the occasion time and time again throughout this pandemic," Gov. Larry Hogan said in a press release. "Offering incentives for vaccinations is another way they are stepping up."

"We encourage businesses across the state to offer incentives for both their customers and their employees to get vaccinated," the governor added. "The sooner we get more Marylanders vaccinated, the sooner we can bring this pandemic to an end."

Hogan mentioned that Ledo Pizza reached out to the state and volunteered to be a part of the immunization push.

"As a proud Maryland company, we stand by the efforts of the dedicated professionals and leaders who have made this vaccination effort possible," CEO James Beall concluded. "We encourage our fellow Marylanders to go out and get the vaccine."
