Admission and parking is free, but space is limited. You can also park at the Bowie Park and Ride lot and take a shuttle the event. Shuttles will run every 20 minutes and are also free. You'll even get a coupon for a free sandwich from the Bowie Marketplace Chick-fil-A if you take the shuttle.

Unfortunately, the weather doesn't look promising, so stay tuned.

"We would love to have clear blue skies and low humidity on Saturday, but that doesn’t appear likely," the statement reads. "Showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for mid to late afternoon, but that could change. Any decision about canceling the event will be made on Saturday morning. Updates will be communicated via Alert Bowie, social media, and the City website. Please note: even if the outdoor events must be canceled because of the weather, the Home & Health Expo at the Bowie Ice Arena will go on as planned."
