2016 Atlantic Hurricane Season Forecast Released

Now that the snow threats are behind us, forecasters are already looking to the potential impacts of the 2016 Atlantic Hurricane Season. The experts at Colorado State University have issued their forecast for the upcoming season, which starts June 1 and runs through Nov. 30.

The good news is that forecasters anticipate average hurricane activity this year. That bad news is that average could still produce a total of 12 named storms, five hurricanes and two major hurricanes, according to Colorado State’s forecast. >>> Read more.

Wegmans, Harris Teeter, Safeway: No. 1 Grocery Store Is?

America's favorite grocery store is Wegmans, according to a survey out this week. This is the first time in four years that Trader Joe’s did not rank first, the company said.

Findings from a new large-scale consumer study of more than 10,000 consumers conducted by Market Force Information ranked Wegmans as America’s favorite grocery retailer, followed by Publix Super Markets and Trader Joe’s. >>> Read more.
