Father Killed in Attack with Baseball Bat, Son Charged: Police
An argument Saturday night in Lanham turned deadly, according to Prince George's County Police.

A Lanham man has been arrested and charged with murdering his father Saturday night, after police say he confessed to the crime at the scene.
Around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Prince George's County police were called to a home in the 8000 block of Greenfield Drive for a report of an assault.
Officers arrived and found 64-year-old Kenneth Williams suffering from trauma to his body. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Officers arrested Williams' son, 42-year-old Montey Anthony, and charged him with his father's homicide.
"Preliminary investigation reveals Anthony assaulted his father during an argument, causing the fatal injuries," police said in a statement. "The suspect used a baseball bat in the attack. He has admitted his involvement in the homicide."

Anthony is charged with first and second degree murder, and assault charges.
