Local Celebrities Join Vaccine-A-Thon In Prince George's
Prince George's will host a vaccine-a-thon. The 24-hour event will bring local celebrities and residents together to get immunizations.

LANDOVER, MD — Prince George's County will host a 24-hour immunization event on Friday and Saturday. Officials call it the vaccine-a-thon.
Attendees will have the chance to win:
- Movie tickets
- McDonald's gift cards
- Masks
- Lunchboxes
- T-shirts
- Fresh grocery boxes

Local celebrities will join in to encourage inoculation. Notable guests include:
- Joe Clair: A radio personality from WPGC 95.5 FM
- Gregory "Sugar Bear" Elliot: The lead singer and bassist from funk band Experience Unlimited
The clinic starts Friday at 9 a.m. It will take place at the Wayne Curry Sports & Learning Complex, located at 8001 Sheriff Road in Landover.

Walk-ins are welcomed, but appointments are also available at this link. Anybody 16 and older can come. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The Prince George's County Commission for Fathers, Men and Boys will cohost the initiative.
