Lorraine Louise Whipple, 82, of Bowie died on Sunday, August 2, 2015. Lorraine is the daughter of the late Dominic and Clara Lini, who immigrated from Italy.

She is the wife of the late Raymond C. Whipple; mother of Mark C. Whipple and his wife Diane, James R. Whipple and his wife Lauren and Janet L. West; grandmother of Kevin, Caroline, Christopher Jessica and her husband Chris, Christina, James, Justine and her husband Chris, Vincent and Colin; great-grandmother of April and Christopher.

Family will receive friends at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road in Bowie, on Friday, Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. until noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Bowie. A lunch reception will follow at the church.

Interment will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, August 17, at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
