Male Shot In Bowie, Expected To Survive: Police
A Bowie shooting hospitalized a male, police said. Officers expect him to survive. Authorities think the shooting was not random.

BOWIE, MD — Police said a male was shot Saturday evening in Bowie. Medics took the victim to an unnamed hospital, an incident report mentioned. Officers expect him to survive.
Authorities explained that they heard about the shooting in the 12400 block of Shawmont Lane around 10:15 p.m. Police noted that they found the unidentified victim on the scene.
The Bowie Police Department added that the shooting does not seem random. The agency advised that it is still investigating. Officers wrote that there is no active threat to the city.
