Man Dies 8 Days After PG County Crash: Police
PG County police are investigating after a two-car crash earlier this month has resulted in a man's death.
BELTSVILLE, MD — A 68-year-old man has died eight days after being involved in a two-car collision in Beltsville, police say.
Police were called to the area of Montgomery Road and Wicomico Avenue at around 1:10 p.m. on Nov. 3 to a collision, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
They transported William Mortfeld to the hospital for treatment. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle did not require medical attention, police say.

Police believe Mortfeld was traveling westbound on Montgomery Road when he collided with the other car at the intersection with Wicomico Road.
Police are investigating what led to the crash, the report states.
