New Cajun Seafood Restaurant Will Open In Mall At Prince George's

HYATTSVILLE, MD — Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar will open soon in Hyattsville. It will be located inside the Mall at Prince George's at 3500 East-West Hwy.

The Hyattsville Wire first reported the addition on June 7, noting that the eatery was originally slated to open in 2019. The restaurant's website confirms the upcoming location, but it does not list an official opening date.

The facility will be near the T.J. Maxx at the southwest mall entrance, The Hyattsville Wire wrote. The site will also have an exterior entrance, journalist Alison Beckwith added.

The Hyattsville Hook & Reel will be the fourth in Prince George's County and the 11th in Maryland. The chain has 93 planned or existing locations. Beckwith mentioned that the first store opened in Lanham in 2013.

"We set out to share the saucy spirit of the boil with folks everywhere," the restaurant said on its webpage. "The Hook & Reel seafood boil dishes up the 'reel' deal – the full backyard boil experience and flavor, with a twist."
