New School Board Members Set To Take Office In Prince George's
Prince George's County voters elected five school officials this November. Their terms start on Monday. Here's what you need to know.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The election is over, and the residents have decided. The five recently-chosen members of the Prince George's County Board of Education will take their oath of office on Monday.
David Murray (District 1), Raaheela Ahmed (District 5) and Edward Burroughs III (District 8), won re-election. Shayla Adams-Stafford (District 4) and Kenneth Harris II (District 7) earned their first victories. They will all serve four-year terms.
Harris will be the first to take the oath at 6 p.m. Adams-Stafford will follow at 6:30 p.m. Ahmed will take the stage at 7 p.m. Murray will round out the bunch at 7:30 p.m.

Burroughs cannot attend on Monday. He will take the oath later.
The ceremony will be closed to the public. Interested viewers can watch from home. The event will be streamed via Comcast on Channel 96, Verizon on Channel 38, the school system's website and Prince George's County Public Schools' YouTube channel.
