Officer Saves Kitten Stuck In Prince George's Storm Drain: Police

A police officer saved a kitten stuck in a District Heights storm drain, authorities said. The photos of the rescue are purrrfect.

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD — An officer with the Prince George's County Police Department saved a kitten stuck in a storm drain, authorities announced Tuesday. Officials noted that Cpl. Clark spotted the fluff ball in District Heights.

"We’re not only #FirstToServe our citizens but also our four-legged residents," PGPD tweeted.

The agency shared photos of the rescue on social media. Look just past the officer's extended yellow sleeve to see the cat.
