Largo Man, 39, Found Shot To Death In Garage: Police

UPDATE — The Prince George's County Police Department identified the victim of Wednesday night's fatal shooting as Omar Wright, 39, of Harry S. Truman Drive in Largo. "Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime," the department said in a statement.

At about 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, patrol officers responded to the 600 block of Harry S. Truman Drive for the report of a shooting, the police said. When they arrived, they found Wright in a parking garage suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

LARGO, MD — The Prince George's County police are investigating the death of a man who was found Wednesday night at a location where gunshots were reported. Officers responded at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday to the 600 block of Harry S. Truman Drive in Largo, where they found the unidentified man, who was "suffering from trauma to his upper body," a police report stated.

Police detectives are working to determine a motive and suspects in the case.
