Possible Funnel Cloud Spotted Over Wilson Bridge
During Tuesday's storms, photos have emerged of what appear to show a funnel cloud in the area of the Wilson Bridge.

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD -- Some stunning photos posted to social media (embedded below) appear to show a funnel cloud over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge that connects National Harbor, Md. and Alexandria, Va.
The pictures were posted by Twitter user Brandon Luxenburg and then shared by the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang. They were taken during the severe storms that rolled through the area on Tuesday.
"Possible funnel cloud or perhaps a waterspout near Wilson Bridge," CWG wrote. "Photo inconclusive/faint. DCA radar showed slight hint of rotation in general area at the time. Anyone else see this while in the area?"

One user, Ed Frank, said he heard an eyewitness account as well. "[W]e were on our office rooftop at 13th and Penn NW and a colleague said she saw a ghostlike funnel or waterspout down there around then," he wrote.
