Rain, Rain, And More Rain Coming To Prince George's County

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD -- We've had a tremendous amount of rain in Prince George's County this year, and especially in December. And it doesn't look like that's going to stop, at least this upcoming week.

There will be a chance of rain on every single weekday this week, with things not clearing up until the weekend.

It all starts with a 100 percent chance of rain on Monday, according to the National Weather Service. We could get up to a half inch of rain with temperatures up near 50.

The rain will continue through the New Year's countdown and into Tuesday morning. We'll get a short reprieve, with partly sunny skies, and you can skip the jacket with highs above 60 degrees.

Temperatures will dive back into the 40s by Wednesday, and clouds will start to creep in again, bringing a chance of rain with it in the evening hours as lows plunge to the mid-30s.

Thursday the chance of rain will grow, and highs will inch closer to 50. And Friday, rain becomes very likely, with highs getting above 50 again.

Finally, the rain leaves us for Saturday and Sunday, with mostly sunny skies around 50 degrees both days.
