Register Now for Bowie Spring 5K Race, 2 Mile Walk

BOWIE, MD — Bowie Town Center will host the Bowie 35th anual Spring 5K Race & 2 Mile Walk on Saturday, March 19.

The race will benefit the Bowie Food Pantry.

It will include door prizes, awards for overall male and female winners in each age bracket and a free shirt for the first 100 runners who pre-register.

“We are proud to host community events that help our shoppers engage in an active and healthy lifestyle,” said Steven Andrews, mall manager at Bowie Town Center.

Prior to Wednesday, March 16 at noon, participants can pre-register online or in person at Huntington Community Center. After March 16, guests must register in-person on race day for $30 per person or $25 with a canned food donation.

Male and female runners will be awarded based on the following age brackets:

• 18 & under
• 19-29 years old
• 30-39 years old
• 40-49 years old
• 50-59 years old
• 60-69 years old
