The Rev. Peter Juan Ortiz, 84, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 of Washington, DC.

Husband of Vivian B. Ortiz; father of Kim, John and Johnetta and her husband Melvin; brother of Edward Ortiz (Betty) and Ricardo Ortiz (Jan); Rev. Ortiz is also survived by 5 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, on Sunday, April 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 11700 Old Fort Road, Fort Washington. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church Building Fund, Fort Washington, MD.
