COLLEGE PARK, MD — A gunshot went off after a dispute between a College Park resident and two men who entered his home turned violent, police say.

Police were called to the 7500 block of Dickinson Avenue at around 10:40 p.m. on Oct. 30 and determined that the man who lived there "let two unknown suspects into the residence," according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.

"The preliminary investigation reveals the suspects and victim got into a dispute during which one of the suspects struck the victim," the report states. "The second suspect, who had a gun, then fired one round inside of the home. No one in the house was hurt."
