Snow Latest: Winter Weather Advisory Issued
Weather forecast for Maryland will have some roads snow covered for the Friday morning commute.

There will be some light accumulation of snow across the area by Friday morning, according to forecasters.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the region from 10 p.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Between 1 and 3 inches of snow is expected.

Rain will begin in the afternoon Thursday before mixing with snow, according to the weather service statement.
Snow will continue overnight, impacting the Friday morning commute before tapering off by midday.

Untreated roads may be snow covered Friday morning, according to the Capital Weather Gang, “especially in our colder areas north and west areas and those areas south and southeast of town where heavier snow may develop towards morning.”
Winds will gust up to 20 mph, with temperatures in the lower 30s.
The snow will head out to sea as it leaves the region, likely leaving most of the Northeast unscathed, according to the Weather Channel

Tonight: A chance of rain and snow before 9pm, then snow. Low around 30. Southeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Friday: Snow likely before 9am, then a chance of rain and snow between 9am and 3pm, then a slight chance of rain after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 40. North wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
