Snow In Prince George's County: Share Your Photos With Patch

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The first major winter storm of the year rolled through Prince George's County on Sunday. The system dumped a few inches of snow on the region.

Greenbelt led the way with 2.8 inches. Other towns, like Fort Washington, saw as little as half an inch. Check your town's totals at this link.

The National Weather Service estimates that there is a 70 percent chance of a wintery mix for the rest of Monday. That could bring another 0.1 inches of ice and less than an inch of snow or sleet to the area.

There's a 50 percent chance of light snow showers on Tuesday, but meteorologists don't expect any accumulation. The storm should clear by Wednesday morning.
