Sunshine and 80 Degrees: Prince George's Weather Forecast

It was a chilly morning Monday, but we can take comfort that this is the coldest it will get over the next week.

Even better: Temperatures Monday will reach 80 degrees. We'll stay in the 70s Tuesday as the sun keeps shining. Welcome, spring!

The temperature cools slightly Wednesday, and clouds will roll in with a chance for a shower late in the week. But all of that will clear in time for a weekend of sunshine and temperatures in the 60s.

The weather system keeping nice weather in our region has led to dangerous storms settling in over Texas.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 80. North wind 6 to 9 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 78. Northwest wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 66. North wind 5 to 8 mph becoming east in the afternoon.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 71.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68.
