Temple Hills Man Dies In Car Accident Near Cheltenham: Police
A Temple Hills man died in a car accident near Cheltenham, police said. His car struck a pole and caught fire, officers added.
CHELTENHAM, MD — Police said a Temple Hills man died in a Sunday car accident near Cheltenham. Officers identified the victim as 19-year-old Latrell McCants.
An incident report noted that he was heading south on Surratts Road around 5:40 p.m. when his car exited the roadway for unknown reasons. The vehicle then hit a pole and caught fire, the write-up added. Medics pronounced the victim dead on the scene in the 9400 block of Surratts Road, authorities explained.
