What's Open, Closed In Prince George's County On July 4

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Many government services change their hours around holidays. Here is what's opened and closed in Prince George's County around Independence Day, which is on Sunday, July 4:

Prince George's County Government Offices: County government offices will be closed on Monday. A full list of when each county office and service will reopen is available at this link.

City of Bowie Government Offices: City government offices will be closed on Monday. A full list of when each city office and service will reopen is available at this link.

Courts: Courts will be closed Monday. Court hours are listed here.

Parks: All parks will be open for their normal hours. Residents can call (301) 446-3222 for a full list of what parks and recreational facilities have reopened.

Libraries: The Prince George's County Memorial Library System will be closed Sunday and Monday.

Post Offices: Post offices will be closed Monday.

Prince George's County Trash and Recycling: There will be no curbside trash and recycling pickup in Prince George's County on Monday. It will resume on the next regularly scheduled day. A schedule of the county's trash, recycling and landfill operations is available here.

Bowie Trash and Recycling: There will be no curbside trash and recycling pickup in the City of Bowie on Monday. It will resume on the next regularly scheduled day. A schedule of Bowie's trash and recycling operations is available here.

Transit: The Metrorail and Metrobus will run on their Sunday schedules this Sunday. The Metrorail will operate on a Sunday schedule this Monday. The Metrobus will run on a Saturday schedule this Monday. Their holiday changes are posted here.

TheBus in Prince George's County will not operate Monday.

The MARC train will run Sunday and Monday. All MARC schedules are listed on its website.
