  1. Simple Pleasures Ice Cafe (Bowie) — An old-fashioned ice cream parlor serving handmade original frozen goodness. Bowie Patch readers raved about the all natural ice cream, classic flavors and friendly service. In addition to ice cream, you can also satisfy your sweet tooth with Italian Ice, sherbet or sorbet.
  2. Edesia’s Ice Cream (Bowie) — Patch reader Janelle R. says: “The only way anyone WOULDN’T say Edesia’s is if they haven’t tried it!” One of the most popular booths at the Farmer’s Market, Edesia’s is known for their handmade all-natural pints that keep your freezer stocked until fall.
  3. Rita’s (Bowie) — Need a quick treat? Rita’s is known for their traditional Italian ices and creamy frozen custard.
  4. Menchie’s (Largo) — A traditional self-serve frozen yogurt shop with an endless toppings bar.
  5. Kilwins (Gambrills) — The original recipe ice cream is available in dozens of flavors from traditional vanilla to the creative New Orleans Praline Pecan. Try pairing a scoop with one of their handmade fudge or caramel toppings.
