Woman Killed After Being Thrown From Vehicle In PG County: Police
A woman died after being ejected following a crash in Prince George's County over the weekend, police say.

LAUREL, MD — A woman has died after she was ejected from her vehicle following a crash on a highway in Laurel, police say.
Maryland State Police troopers responded at 11:40 p.m. on Sunday to a report of an overturned vehicle in the area of Baltimore Avenue (Route 1) and the Inter-County Connector (MD Route 200), according to an MSP report.
After an investigation, police determined that a 2018 Mercedes CL2 driven by 32-year-old Zanib Naveed of Pomona, N.Y., was traveling east on Route 200 when she tried to take the southbound curve to Route 1 and struck the curb, the report states.

"Naveed, the lone occupant in the vehicle, was ejected as a result of the crash," the report adds. "She was declared deceased at the scene. No vehicles were involved. According to a preliminary investigation, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash."
