#12 Dartmouth Ends #21 Hingham's Softball Season In Tourney, 10-4
The Dartmouth offense 15-hit assault on Hingham got the team to victory in the state tournament.
HINGHAM, MA- The #21 Hingham Harborwomen traveled to Dartmouth to face the #12 Indians in the MIAA Softball Division 1 South Sectional Tournament Preliminary Round.
Dartmouth took the lead in the second inning when Megan Arruda walked and then scored a run. Next in the fourth inning, Arruda singled and then scored her second run of the game. Then Ava Rymszewicz hit a 2-RBI single.
In the sixth inning, Samara Turgeon hit a home run and then Hannah Bouvier and Sofia Dias drove in runs for Dartmouth. Dartmouth would go on to win 10-4.

Dartmouth senior Allyson Olivera earned the win against Hingham in which she allowed three runs on six hits. Lilly Giolisa threw two innings in relief to earn the save.
Dartmouth collected 15 hits including Dias who went 4-for-4 in the game. Rymszewicz and pitchers Olivera and Giolisa also hit multiple times for Dartmouth.

Dartmouth will go on to face #5 Plymouth North in Round 1 on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
