4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Near Hingham

HINGHAM, MA— Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in Hingham:

July 4 Road Race:

• Date: 7/4
• Time: Begins 7 a.m.
• Location: 1103 Main St, Hingham, and Massachusetts 02043
• Cost: $40
• Reservations: Required
• Other information: Unique course: 4.47 miles, point to point. Fast, runner friendly, downhill-dipped, few gradual uphill climbs, down historic Main Street, ending under huge flag with enthusiastic crowd.

July 4 Parade and Fireworks

• Date: 7/4
• Time: 10 a.m.
• Location: The Parade will start at 10:00 AM near the Hingham High School at the Middle Street/Pleasant Street intersection and will head North across Route 228 and joining Main Street in Hingham Center and and following Main Street to Hingham Square.
• Other information: The 2021 Parade Theme is “Heroes Among Us!” The parade is rain or shine, the fireworks are TBA.
