Art Galleries in Hingham this Month
The Hingham Library is putting the spotlight on the arts by holding two separate art exhibits in November.

The Hingham Library is highlighting the work of several artists this month with two separate exhibits featuring paintings and photographs.
The “Spain: Images of Andalusia” exhibition will feature photographs from central and southern Spain.
Members of the community can view the the photographs of Madrid, Toledo, Cordoba, Seville and Granada Hingham Library in the Clemens Gallery until Thursday, Nov. 27.

The photographs were taken by Jean Donahue and James Foley.
Another exhibition features paintings by solo artist Maureen Spinale. Her show, “The Wonder of it All,” displays pastel paintings of nature that favors the Hudson River School Artists painting philosophy, according to Hingham Library. The show is presented by the North River Arts Society.

Spinale has worked with artists Donna Rossetti-Bailey and Liz Haywood Sullivan.
The gallery will be in the Hingham Library’s Dolphin Gallery through Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015. The exhibit began on Saturday, Nov. 8.
