Beau & Ro Bag Company Opening Popup At Derby Street In Hingham

HINGHAM, MA — A new store selling hand bags, jewelry, hats, and other women's accessories is opening as a pop-up shop at the Derby Street Shops. Charleston-based Beau & Ro Bag Company opens its doors Thursday night and will remain open through Oct. 1.

The grand opening is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and company Sara Rossi announced she's celebrating with complimentary oysters and rosé for customers.

Rossi, a Boston College graduate, said a lot of her collection was inspired by Cape and other nautical fashion from New England. She said she's excited to return to Massachusetts with her business this summer.

"So much of the Beau & Ro collection was inspired by nautical New England, it is part of the brand’s DNA!" Rossi said in a statement. "And I love any excuse to spend time in Massachusetts in the summer, which makes joining the Derby Street community for a couple months very special for me! I’m excited to bring our signature and new styles to Hingham."

Some of those new styles include leather handbags made by artisans in Colombia, Mexico, and Vietnam, as well as hand-painted hats made by street artists in Colombia.
