Black Friday 2017 at Derby Street Shoppes: The Shoppers Guide

HINGHAM, MA — After the turkey dinner is over and the leftovers are put in the refrigerator, the holiday season goes into full effect.

Another large crowd is expected when stores at the Derby Street Shoppes open early as part of Black Friday. In additional to the sales, shoppers should expect activities, events, and more up and down the shopping center.

To help you get ready for Black Friday and the weekend at at the shoppes, here is what you need to know:

Store Hours

The shopping center opens at 8 a.m. The opening time for some stores may vary.

Notable Sales

• A Ruby is holding its anticipated "Buy More, Save More" sale: spend $100, save $20; spend $150, save $50. The locally owned women's chic essentials brand recently opened a new location next to The Paper Store.
• Levitate is offering 30 percent off storewide throughout the weekend. The locally owned surf and apparel company is hosting a holiday pop-up at Derby Street, featuring items such as fleeces, beanies, mugs, and the brand's popular line of flannels.
• LOFT is offering 50 percent off the entire store, excluding sale items, from Black Friday through Sunday.
• Whole Foods Market is offering a variety of Black Fridays deals on everything from holiday decorations to ice cream and flatbread pizzas to wine.
• Banana Republic is offering 50 percent off.

After Black Friday

The Derby Street Shoppes will host a Holiday Stroll with a special performance by the Boston Pops Brass Band, on Nov. 28 from 6-8 p.m.In addition to the sing along concert, the event will feature a photo booth, complimentary hot chocolate, and an appearance from Mr. and Mrs. Claus. The Holiday Stroll will take place outside The Paper Store.

Below is the full schedule:

• 6:30-7 p.m. - Sing along concert with the Boston Pops Brass Band
• 6:50-8 p.m. - Special appearance from Mr. and Mrs. Claus
• 6-8 p.m. - Complimentary photo booth and hot chocolate
