D'Angelo Sandwich Shop on Route 53 in Hingham has closed its doors.
The restaurant, located at 12 Whiting St. at Queen Anne's Corner, recently removed its sign and shut down. A temporary sign on the side of the building indicates that D'Angelo Real Estate is the lease holder.
A spokeswoman for D'Angelo, a chain based out of Dedham, did not respond to requests for comment. The company's website does not list the location, citing the nearest shops in Weymouth and Quincy.
The building was constructed in 1989, according to data from the town assessor's website, and was valued during the current year at a total of $809,100 including the building and land.
The owner of the property is listed as D'Angelo Inc., based in West Bridgewater.
