DaSilva Urges Hingham Citizens to Vote for Libby Lewiecki

Libby Lewiecki is running for office once again for the right reasons, and I strongly endorse her candidacy for Hingham Town Clerk. I’ve had the pleasure to get to know Libby as a colleague on the School Committee. She does her research and is an honest, hard working public servant. The Capital and Facilities Subcommittee of the School Committee identified some grant money through the Hingham CPC to renovate the playground at PRS. Thanks to Libby’s leadership, we were able to work with CPC and secure the grant. Also, I was especially impressed by her thoughtful replies, as Secretary on behalf of the School Committee, to countless emails from parents during this difficult year.

Libby hopes to collaborate with the teachers to provide civic engagement opportunities for our students, actively recruit volunteers, and encourage all citizens to be active in town government.

I know that Libby is the right candidate with the right skills and qualities to be the next Hingham Town Clerk. She will continue Eileen McCracken's legacy with patience, efficiency, and integrity. We will miss Libby on the School Committee but we are glad that, if elected, she will faithfully serve all the citizens of Hingham for many more years to come.
